Tenebrio molitar larva, commonly known as mealworms, are a protein-rich feeder insect approximately 20-25mm in length. Mini Mealworms are the same species however theyre harvested before they reach their full size. As a result these worms have much softer exoskeletons than regular mealworms. These worms are approximately 10-15mm in length at the time of harvest and are suitable for smaller insect-eating reptile, amphibian and bird species. Store in a cool dry place to ensure they remain healthy for longer.
